First Video Fund Award, October 1992. - Simon Fraser University's Centre for the Contemporary Arts Bursary, July 1994, June1993, June 1992, May 1990 Community - has been an active producer member of Video Pool Inc. in Winnipeg , an artist run center, since 1986, including volunteering on the tech committee, live productions, parties, programming committee, mail outs and spearheaded and participated in the upgrades to the audio suite. - participated at Video Pool as a sound workshop instructor since 1986 instructing all levels of sound recording, editing, mixing, digital audio, time code and production for film, video and radio. - has presented a one week intensive workshop dedicated to sharing collected knowledge about using sensors, hardware interfacing, the Max interactive programming enviroment for Macintosh computer, interactive/reactive installation and performance concepts, etc. This workshop has been presented at Emmedia Calgary, BEAMS Edmonton, Video Verite Saskatoon, Muu Media Center Helsinki, Tornio School for Art and technology Tornio Finland, InterAccess Toronto, Paved New Media Saskatoon, SOIL Regina and several times at Video Pool Winnipeg. - volunteered extensively in the conception, production and programming for Video Pools Send + Receive ; a festival of sound.
